During our stay, we found the front desk staff unengaged and unfriendly, which was disappointing. The spa facilities were not operational, leaving us unable to enjoy them. Additionally, the overall price felt steep for the experience we received, especially considering the lack of basic amenities like a kettle in the room.

The bathroom included a shower and complimentary toiletries. The spa area was surprising—had a massage, steam room, and hot tub available. Very close to hiking trails, just a minute’s walk away.

I spent 2 nights at Destino Sur in a Standard Double Room. The location is great, close to the start of several hiking trails. The room itself was clean, cozy, and had a comfortable bed. I loved the breakfast, it had a wide variety, and the pastries were amazing. The staff here were friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome during my stay. However, the walls are a bit thin, and I could hear noise from the hallway, which was distracting at times. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was somewhat slow, making it tough to stay connected to my family back home. Despite these drawbacks, I appreciated the overall vibe of the hotel and would recommend it if you're looking for a centrally located place in El Chalten.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for 3 nights and overall, it was pretty nice. The room was comfortable, but a bit tight for two people—just a double bed and no extra seating. It was quiet, which I liked, and the view of the mountains was a nice touch. The bathroom was slippery, so be careful when showering. The hot water was tricky too. it could get way too hot fast! But it was clean and cozy enough for some good rest after hiking.
